Oven BBQ Chicken Breasts



This is THE easiest chicken recipe I have ever made.  My husband says it's a keeper, which is great because he is super picky and this took barely five minutes of prep! Want to know the best part?  250 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, and 29 grams of protein per chicken breast!  See if you can find a low sodium BBQ sauce to make this recipe even healthier.






Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts (skinless to keep it healthier!)
  • 1/2 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (I used Kraft Honey BBQ)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste (optional)
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Rinse chicken breasts and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Place in ungreased 9"x13" baking dish, add salt and pepper to season.
  4. Pour BBQ sauce over chicken, use a spatula to completely cover.
  5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Simple as that!

I made Breaded Broccoli with this.  The prefect meal to end a busy day!
